The youngest son of Mr Gurdev Singh, Mr Kuldip Singh, Founder Principal of Homerton Grammar School, is a name to reckon with in the Faridabad Education firmament. A Master in the subject of English, his futuristic vision for education in Faridabad has set an example for others to follow and has given a different outlook towards education in Faridabad. Particularly creditworthy is his insistence and perseverance in introducing concept-based education to students.
After he completed his Masters in English from Punjab University in 1964, he taught in a School in Phagwara till 1966. Then to enhance his horizons he went to England in 1966 where he did his Certificate in English Studies & Education from Coventry College of Education. For 6 years he taught in London and then he went to Homerton College to specialize in Secondary Mathematics & obtained a Certificate in Teaching Mathematics from Homerton College, Cambridge. Thereafter for 6 years, he taught Mathematics in various Secondary Schools in England.
He holds a great interest in travelling and has an acumen for adventure as well. Also, he is a profound reader and has a great interest in reading books that are related to Mathematics, Science and Life in general. His never-ending thirst for learning has made him travel places and has given him immense knowledge which he wants to pass on by teaching the students of Homerton.
