Young Diplomats Shine at Hometorn Grammar School's Ekatava 2.0

Hometorn Grammar School successfully organised the second edition of its intra-school Model United Nations, Ekatava 2.0, on 3rd and 4th July, with the objective of fostering leadership, diplomacy, critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving among students. The event was inaugurated by Principal Ms. Aayushi Kajla, Vice Principal Ms. Shilpa Kale, and Administrator Ms. Archana Dogra, while Secretary-General Naitik Jaggi, the School Head Boy, ceremonially marked the commencement with the traditional hammering. Delegates participated enthusiastically in committees including AIPPM, UNHRC, Nexus Assembly, IPL, and TTC, engaging in stimulating debates on diverse and innovative agendas.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Niti Nandini Chatnani, Professor of Finance and Head of International Collaborations and Capacity Development at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, along with Academic Coordinator Ms. Susan Kaur. Dr. Chatnani praised the school for providing an enriching platform that nurtures confident, informed, and responsible young leaders and encouraged the institution to continue organising such meaningful events. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognising the outstanding delegates for their exemplary performances and diplomatic excellence
