Homerton Grammar School Inaugarates Cricket Academy to Promote Sports Excellence

Homerton Grammar School proudly inaugurated its Cricket Academy on 16th April 2026, marking a significant step towards promoting sports and nurturing young talent.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Guest of honor, Mr. Parvinder Awana and Mr. Vijay Yadav, former Indian cricketers, who inspired the young audience with their presence and words of encouragement.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and staff members, creating an energetic and celebratory atmosphere on the school campus.

The Cricket Academy has been introduced as an after-school initiative for boys and girls aged 7 to 15 years. The academy will be open to both Homerton students and external participants.
