Homerton Grammar School Honours Academic Excellence at the Grand Scholar’s Felicitation Ceremony

With immense pride and a spirit of celebration, Homerton Grammar School hosted its much-anticipated Scholar’s Felicitation Ceremony to honour the outstanding academic achievements of its students in the Board Examinations for the session 2024–25.

The ceremony stood as a testament to the belief that recognition and appreciation are powerful motivators. Gracing the event as Chief Guest was Dr. Pradeep Kumar Dimri, Professor of Electronics Engineering and Dean, Students Welfare at JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA. The school was also privileged to welcome Mr. A.K. Nehra, Managing Director, Belz Instruments Pvt. Ltd., as Guest of Honour.

The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a soulful Saraswati Vandana. Principal Mr. A.K. Saxena warmly welcomed the gathering and lauded the commendable efforts of students, parents, and teachers. A heartfelt tribute was paid by the toppers of the graduating batch, whose words resonated with gratitude and fond memories.

The highlight of the day was the felicitation of scholars from Grades X and XII, who were honoured with certificates and accolades by the dignitaries. In their addresses, Mr. Nehra inspired students with the powerful message, “Let’s not just be job seekers, but job givers,” while Dr. Dimri reminded the audience that “Persistence, discipline, and staying grounded are the true keys to success.”

Adding vibrant energy to the celebration, senior students performed an electrifying fusion dance. The event concluded with an address by Academic Director, Ms. Susan Kaur, who thanked parents for their continued faith in the institution and commended the teachers for their unwavering dedication. The day ended on a high note, with the audience leaving inspired, proud, and motivated to continue striving for excellence.
