PARENTING WORKSHOP HELD AT HOMERTON GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

Homerton Grammar School, Sector 21A Faridabad. More than 250 parents, Teachers and Principals from across Faridabad benefitted from our workshop on the topic – ‘How to Handle Toddlers’. The workshop was conducted by an eminent speaker Ms. Varsha Shelat from Indiannica Learning. Various issues and concerns of parents were addressed with utmost expertise by Ms. Varsha Shelat. The workshop aimed at endorsing the importance of human involvement in children’s life.

The program started with a performance by our Tiny-Tots on the song ‘Shree Ganesha Deva’, which was followed by the workshop.
One more very important aspect bothering parents of toddlers is – What parameters to keep in mind while choosing a formal school. This topic was then addressed by our Founder Principal Mr. Kuldip Singh.
It was an enriching experience for all those who attended the workshop.
During the workshop the toddlers were engaged in an activity to evaluate a major social concern– ‘Say No to Plastic Bags’. They were given canvas bags on which they did paintings using various materials available at disposal.

DIRECTOR KUNAL V. SINGH AND ACTORS PROMOTE FILM – SUMMER CAMP AT HOMERTON GRAMMAR SCHOOL

Director Kunal V. Singh along with actors Rajesh Puri, Saurabh Agarwal, Manish Garg and other crew members came to interact with Homertonians this Saturday Afternoon for the promotion
It was a proud moment for Homerton Grammar School, as two of our students Gyanda & Ritika Nalwa play lead roles in the movie Summer Camp.

In sync with the fun filled spirit of the movie ‘Summer Camp’ our school campus echoed with celebrations and fun.
Director Kunal V. Singh introduced the cast and crew of the movie and Music director Jitu Matrix broke into a jig on the song ‘Ubaasiya’ from the upcoming movie. He also added it ‘Summer Camp’ is a fun filled entertainer which revolves around the plot – when parents decide to send their kids to a remote hill station for a summer camp, organized by an orphanage called Prem Shanti Ashram. At its core, the film teaches kids basic moral values of unity. The film is set to release in PVR Cinemas on 26th October 2018.
Director and Actors posed for selfies with the student’s, staff and management and spoke of their film, hoping the fans would show the same warm reception.
The Management, Staff and students wish Nalwa Sisters and the entire cast and crew of the movie a great success.

HOMERTON FOOTBALL TEAM QUALIFIED AS THE 1ST RUNNER UP AT KHELO FARIDAB

7th October, 2018. Faridabad. The Boys under 19 Football Team went to Modern Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad in high spirits to participate in Khelo Faridabad Tournament. Total of 8 teams had participated in the category and Homerton Team out shined as the 1st Runner up.


After 2 wins in Quarter Finals & Semi Finals. A fantastic start saw our team strike to the finals from close range to give DPS Greater Faridabad and DAV 14, a strike out. The Boys played brilliantly against strong opposition.
Overall the boys have been fantastic this season, the standard of football much higher than it has been at Homerton Grammar in recent years.
“We at Homerton Grammar School could not be prouder of the effort, teamwork and determination from the Boys”, commented our Principal Mrs. Archana Dogra.

21st Century Learning Skills and Objectives

A workshop on 21st Century Learning Skills and Objectives for Playschool teachers and Principals was conducted in our school recently.

The workshop was supported by Macmillan Publishers. The topic 4c’s of 21st Century education which is the core reflection of our school teaching methodology was highlighted by the speaker. Over 50 Principals and Teachers participated and got benefited from the same.
The workshop was followed by refreshments and school visit.
