The Investiture Ceremony of Homerton Grammar School for the session 2016-2017 was yet again a special occasion where school entrusted upcoming leaders. The older council by tradition relinquished responsibilities to the new council with grace and dignity. The students from classes 5th to 12th went through a unique experience of casting vote. The campaign started a few days before the day of elections. Students came up with their manifesto. Finally, the result was declared.

They received the responsibilities with a pledge to preserve the pride of school. Vice Principal, Ms. Archana Dogra congratulated the elected body and the badges were given. They took the oath to uphold and follow the rules and regulations set by the school. Mr.Kuldip Singh, the founder Principal of Homerton Grammar School congratulated and blessed the newly elected school council.
World Red Cross Day was celebrated at Homerton Grammar School on 8th of May as a part of Unesco activities.The Red Cross Day was celebrated most meaningfully by the Homertonians. Some safety measures were enacted by the students of Dramatic Club and the message was spread successfully. Through their skits, they showed them how to give first aid for various injuries and illness. They also taught them how to make First Aid Box and about its contents. The students also explained how The Red Cross Society came into existence, the concept behind running this organization and the number of present members. Holding blood donation camp, catering mobile first aid service to the community, eye check-up camps, etc are some of the programs which are on the pipeline on this day.
At the end the students took an oath to do their bit to make the day a success.
The first Jaskaran Singh Memorial Table Tennis Championship was held at Trinity Sports Hall in Homerton Grammar School, Sector-21/A, Faridabad from 14th December to 16th December 2015, in which about 280 students joining from Faridabad, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Hissar, Rohtak and Indore participated with great enthusiasm and vigour. This tournament was organised in the memory of Mr. Jaskaran Singh, the elder brother of Mr. Kuldip Singh, the founder Principal of Homerton Grammar School.
There were 13 categories starting with age group 8 years and above. The overall winner in Men’s Single was Vikas from Gurgaon and Women’s Single was Lina Kalra from Faridabad. In under 8 years category, Divyam Nagpal (Faridabad) under 10 years category, Aarnav Goyal (Delhi) and Aanya Sinha (Faridabad) under 12 years category, Naman (Sonepat) and Atulya (Delhi), under 15 years category, Krishna Jain (Delhi) and Poornima (Rohtak) under 18 years category, Lakshay (Gurgaon) and Shweta (Gurgaon) and under 21 years category, Anshul (Faridabad) and Trisha (Faridabad) were declared winners in the Men and Women categories.
On the one hand, where the table tennis tournament was conducted in the sports hall on 6 table tennis boards, on the other hand, the Trinity Sports Hall boasts of well-equipped facilities of badminton courts.
The winners of the tournament were awarded by the Founder Principal, Mr. Kuldip Singh.
