Homerton Empowers the Leaders of 21st Century

HOMERTON GRAMMAR school witnessed an event on 10 August 2018, the splendor of which was at par with the magnificence of the occasion-investiture ceremony and inauguration of knowledge Room and IT lab with the theme of ‘Empowering the Leaders Of 21st Century.

One can easily imagine the grandiosity and magnitude of an event whose Chief Guest was an inspiring Youth Leader of Faridabad Shri Aman Goel Ji. The ‘Tilak Ceremony’ took place followed by the inauguration of newly Renovated Knowledge Room and IT Lab. This was followed by an impressive welcome dance by the students of class 6th to 11th. The school also held its Investiture Ceremony, which was a solemn occasion where the young students prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The Head Boy, Gaurang Baisoya, Head Girl, Avleen kaur, Deputy Sports Captain Tushar Sharma were sworn in with an oath and sachets were decked with badges by parents of these students. The program was followed by a dance performance. The meritorious students of Class 12th scoring exceptional marks in Board Examination were felicitated for their remarkable performances in the field of Academics. The celebrations felt complete with the dignitaries congratulating the school management for their excellence. The unveiling of the book “BEGINNER’S VECTORS AND PHYSICS” Authored by the Founder Principal Shri Kuldip Singh was done by Honorable Chief Guest Shri Aman Goel and Sir himself.
Parents of meritorious students of 12th class (2017-18), students of class 4th to 12th, parents of Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputy Sports Captain graced the event. The Managing Director, Shri Rajtheep Singh proposed the vote of thanks, he commended the meritorious students and appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the performances of the students.

Homerton Grammar School Celebrated the 72nd Independence Day

The Homerton Grammar School Sec-21A Faridabad celebrated 72nd Independence Day with unprecedented patriotic fervor. The celebration of the day commenced with the Flag Hoisting by the Chief Guest Brigadier (Retd) Mr. N.N Mathur and Guests of Honour Mr. Dhan Singh Chairman D.S Doors and Mr. Nehra Director of WCRA Sec 21A Faridabad. The National Anthem echoed in the entire campus.
On this very special & solemn occasion students presented patriotic songs, dance and poems emphasizing the sanctity of the day. The programme was followed by a warm welcome of guests and felicitated by indoor saplings and memento. Thereafter, the cultural programme began with a musical rendition by school choir which sang an enthusiastic song ‘Wo Jazba’ composed by our music teacher Mr. Ashish Chana that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. This was followed by a beautiful dance performance on the song ‘Desh Rangeela’. Students of grades 5th to 12th took an active participation in the cultural programme.
Principal Mrs. Archana Dogra addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasized the role of youth today as the wealth of our country. A dance performance on the song “teeja Tera Rang” grabbed the attention of all. One could easily witness amongst the youngsters, the diehard spirit to participate and excel. The programme was followed by a valuable speech by the Chief Guest Brig. (Retd.) N.N Mathur. The Founder Principal of the school Mr. Kuldip Singh addressed the Vote of Thanks by appraising the real meaning of independence. The cultural programme was highly applauded and appreciated by the dignitaries and the parents.
