Red Cross Day

Red Cross Day

World Red Cross Day was celebrated at Homerton Grammar School on 8th of May as a part of Unesco activities. The Red Cross Day was celebrated most meaningfully by the Homertonians. Some safety measures were enacted by the students of Dramatic Club and the message was spread successfully. Through their skits, they showed them how to give first aid for various injuries and illness. They also taught them how to make First Aid Box and about its contents. The students also explained how The Red Cross Society came into existence, the concept behind running this organization and the number of present members. Holding blood donation camp, catering mobile first aid service to the community, eye check-up camps, etc are some of the programs which are on the pipeline on this day.
At the end the students took an oath to do their bit to make the day a success.
